As Karena's reputation grew, she took on more responsibilities at the spa. She became a mentor to new estheticians, sharing her knowledge and expertise with others. Karena was determined to be the best in her field and worked tirelessly to perfect her craft.

Karena's success in the beauty and wellness industry continued to flourish, and she soon became a business coach and consultant. Her clients appreciated her practical advice and her ability to motivate and inspire them.

Karena's accolades include working as a SaaS Market Manager for Booksy, where she expanded the territory base through marketing partnerships, business development presentations, and industry-specific events, averaging 130% sales growth in 2021. Karena also worked as a Brand Development Manager for Circadia by Dr. Pugliese, where she was responsible for cultivating relationships and encouraging sales through education in South Texas, some of North Texas, and at tradeshows.  Karena prospected, established new partnerships and grew existing accounts resulting in 80% growth YOY in 2019.

Karena also volunteered as an Event Manager for CreativeMornings, where she curated monthly lectures, nurtured a community, and managed a team. She worked as a Director of Spa for Valencia Group, where she was responsible for sourcing and negotiating pricing for products, furniture, machines, and art, recruitment, hiring, and training of her team. Karena played a pivotal role in opening the first milk + honey location outside of Austin, where she led a team of 65+ people. Her exceptional leadership skills allowed her to inspire and motivate her team to work together towards the common goal of success. Her efforts and contributions were a significant factor in the success of the location, which was attributed to her ability to hire and train the right people and focus on improving customer service.

Karena's accomplishments also include working as a Regional Account Manager and Market Educator for Murad and an Outside Sales, Regional Account Manager, and Market Educator for Eminence Organics Skincare. In both positions, Karena managed accounts, increased sales, and educated management and staff on new products, techniques, and marketing ideas.
